The object pictured in this image is a bendable tripod called a gorilla pod. Its main purpose is to grasp onto poles and other objects that a normal tripod couldn’t hold onto. I have always wanted to be a photographer so this tripod symbolizes that passion.
I took these photos in the afternoon it gives a shadow to the tripod to make it more three dimensional. I've had the tripod for almost a year now.

This armadillo sculpture belonged to my grandfather which is a representation of his favorite animal. The sculpture is made out of polished wood and has a rough and smooth feel to it. He had many pictures and other sculptures of armadillos around his house. I named the first picture lost because that’s how I felt when he passed away. This sculpture is one of the only things I still have left of him. (Sorry I had to make this part really depressing.)

I found this metal rabbit sitting on a table in my living room. I don’t know where it came from or why my family owns it. I’m guessing it’s because my mother likes rabbits a lot. She grew up watching many of the Bugs Bunny cartoons. The same rabbit where the Big Chungus meme originates from. I often overlook this rabbit when looking at the decorations in my home.

This green vase was sitting in the sunroom and I have never paid much attention to it until now. I noticed that it was simple in design, but on close inspection was very detailed with patterns. It’s quite heavy for only being a 1-foot tall vase. I don’t remember when I got this vase or what was planted in it. I shot both pictures outside because the lighting right before sunset is some of the best natural light.

I chose a banana because you can change the way it looks in so many ways. The fruit by itself is very boring to look at. But when you break it apart and change its shape you can bring new life its look. The background is of a glass table and I chose this because it adds to the image but isn’t too distracting. Bananas aren't very high when it comes to foods I like to eat so using this one up for a photography project was not a loss to me.
